Plugin’s data feeds are ongoing streams of structured data that provide smart contracts, running on the XDC Network’s Ecosystem, with accurate and verifiable data collected from different oracle nodes. The structured data contains reports on the current value of key pieces of data according to authoritative off-chain sources. Examples of Plugin data feeds include weather data for crop insurance, Aviation, Weather Forecast, Inflation data, NFT, etc.

To add, Plugin’s system consolidates data collected from different oracle nodes to arrive at the correct dataset and makes it available to its customers at all times or upon demand.

What’s more, Plugin’s data feeds are based on PLI, which uses XinFin’s XRC 20 standard to reduce GAS expenses. This ensures that use cases on the XDC ecosystem can access different datasets in an economical and scalable manner. As well, the data feed system guarantees short transaction times and allows multiple dAapps to contact Plugin’s oracles from numerous locations across the globe. Short transaction times and ease of access boost efficiency for uses-cases on the XDC Network.
